Hey there!

My name is Conan and I’m the person behind Spoken Legacies. I started recording life stories a few years ago when I realized my grandparents were getting older. They told me many of their stories, but I felt that these stories need to be preserved in some way so my children and their children could know them. So I asked my grandparents if they wanted me to interview them about their life stories over a video call. They said yes.

We talked about everything from their earliest memories, their school life, how they met, their careers, to where they are now. I was so happy when these stories were recorded and I could also tell that my grandparents were too and that they enjoyed reflecting back on their lives. 

A few months later, my grandpa passed away.

While nothing could take away my grief, I found comfort in the fact that I can always watch my grandpa tell his life story. I will always have this piece of him.

I want to provide this comfort to others. To help people preserve their life stories so that a piece of them will live on for generations. I hope that we will someday interview you.
